At the end of first term every year the school produces a report on the previous school year. The 2008 report can be viewed here, reporting the achievements and outcomes from the year at Wesburn Primary School. It makes some encouraging reading. Some highlights:
- A three year trend of decreasing absences, with our “It’s Cool to be at school program”.
- Parent Satisfaction remains high, with a score of 6 out of a maximum 7.
- Performance & Development Culture accreditation by the staff.
- Our involvement in: – The fantastic Drug Education Forum, put on by Grade 5/6 students for their parents, a great Open Night with over 250 people fed and informed about the school, New IT equipment through the school, including interactive whiteboards, a comprehensive Water use audit and water efficiency measures being installed.
Have a read, and please feel free to discuss any part of it with our school Principal, Mrs Anne Stenhouse.
