Integration Support Program

At Wesburn Primary School, our focus surrounds inclusivity of all students, celebrating individual successes and difference, supporting students with diverse learning needs to thrive in all areas of school life and learning.

Our education support staff work closely with classroom teachers to provide each student access to the curriculum and activities being undertaken in the classroom and in specialist settings.

  • Provide a safe and supportive environment
  • Foster children’s self-confidence to achieve their maximum potential
  • Provide opportunities for children to develop independence
  • Provide educational resources which cater for individual needs and varying abilities
  • Make use of technology such as iPads and laptops to support students with their learning
  • Undertake regular Student Support Group meetings, involving our Principal, classroom teachers, students and families. These meetings monitor each child’s progress with their current Individual Education Plan and maintain continued goal development

Wesburn Primary School provides disabled facilities, including a disabled bathroom and ramps to ensure entire school accessibility.
